- Q. I am not very good at putting things together is the baby crib tent easy to fit to the crib?
- A. Good news it's as easy as 123 to fit to the crib. Nothing technical about it at all you will have your crib net up in no time.
- Q. Do I need to buy any fittings to put the crib net up?
- A. A ceiling hook and raw plug are included for you to hanging the crib net from a plaster board ceiling. If your ceiling is not plaster board you will need to buy a suitable hook and raw plug.
- Q. My ceilings are very high, much higher than normal can I still use your crib tent?
- A. Yes you can, the height of the ceiling does not matter, all you do is add extra length at the top of the net using some strong ribbon or light weight brass chain. I had to add brass chain to mine as my ceiling were 10 foot heigh.
- Q. What age is the crib net for?
- A. You can use my crib net from when your baby is a new born and continue to use it for as many years as he or she is sleeping in the crib.
- Q. what is the crib size that the crib net fits?
- A. My crib net has been designed to fit to the inside of the crib, not relying on the frame of the crib for support my crib net fits all crib sizes and styles up to a standard size crib. The standard interior crib size measures 132cm or 52 inches each long side x 71cm or 28 inches each short end giving a total interior circumference of 406cm or 160 inches. My crib net has been successfully used on smaller cribs such as the DaVinci crib and side sleeper cribs that fit next to your bed.
- Q. Can I still use the drop side of the crib?
- A. Yes you can still use the drop side of the crib as the baby crib safety net does not attach to the drop side at all.
- Q. Do I have to take the crib net off to change the sheets on the crib?
- A. No you don't. You can easily make up the crib with the baby crib safety net in place. If you choose you can lift the elastic-fitted bottom up from under the mattress and drape the bottom of the net over the back crib rail while you change the crib bedding. Then just tuck it back under the mattress when you are finished.
- Q. I have two cats do you think they will climb and sit on the baby crib safety net?
- A. The baby crib safety net is designed so that there is no area for the cat to sit on. As the net has sloping sides and the top is at ceiling height.
- Q. Can my toddler reach the zip and open it on your baby crib safety tent?
- A. No the toddler can't reach the zip. The zip is on the outside of the baby crib safety net and closes at the top of the crib net.
- Q. Can my toddler pull the net down out of the ceiling?
- A. You don't have to worry as we include a very strong ceiling toggle hook that can't be pulled out of the ceiling, also the net is tailored to fit inside the crib.
- Q. Can I wash the net?
- A. Yes the Baby Crib Saety Net is fully washable, by hand washing in cool to warm water with mild natural soap I prefer to use a woolwash liquid. The hoop prevents any machine washing.
- Q. My baby's crib has different height ends, will the baby crib safety net still fit?
- A. Yes we have designed our baby crib safety net to easily be fitted to all crib styles and sizes.
- Q. The crib I own is a 3 in 1 that converts to a toddlers bed. Will you baby crib safety net fit?
- A. Yes the Baby Crib Safety Net will fit just fine, because it is designed to fit inside the crib and doesn't attach to the top of the crib anywhere. It's like your favourite pair of trousers that "fit you perfectly and touch you no where"
- Q. How does the net stay under the mattress ?
- A. The bottom of the net is finished with elastic that holds it firmly under the mattress. Just like a fitted bottom bed sheet.
- Q. Wyh did you make your crib tent so it hangs up?
- A. When I first designed my crib tent back in 1998, I tested 3 different designs and one design was with a frame, my research and product safety testing clearly showed that the safest design was the crib tent without a frame. My safety conscious crib tent is frame free and hangs from the ceiling, this is the crib tent I make today.

- A. The website is automatically set in US dollars, each page has a change price set box located on the right hand side, all you do is click the AU Dollars button and click change and you will see the pricing is now in Australian dollars, this is for all Australian and New zealander customers. If you can't see the change price set on the page it could be you are using the internet explorer browser and this has sometimes not shown the hole page content, if you use the fire fox browser it seems to show the hole page or you can go to another page such as the "Ashley's Story" page where you can also buy the crib tent.
